PSSI Expands Into Full Site Concrete for Southern California

October 17, 2026

The quality of site concrete shows in the details: clean edges, even surfaces, stairs that line up, joints exactly where they belong. Those are the things owners, designers, and general contractors notice when a project is done, and they’re what PSSI’s new Site Concrete division is built to get right.

PSSI has expanded its services to include a dedicated site concrete team. It brings the planning, craftsmanship, and field execution we’re known for in structural concrete to the hardscapes, walls, and flatwork around the building.

Why PSSI Added Site Concrete

On most commercial projects, the concrete doesn’t stop at the edge of the building. Paving, curbs, stairs, walls, and drainage surround the structure, and that work shapes how the whole project looks and performs. PSSI has built its reputation on structural concrete, so extending that expertise to the site was a logical next step.

“Adding Site Concrete was a natural extension of that work,” says Chris Conway, who leads the division. Offering both structural and site scopes creates better continuity from the building through the surrounding site, which improves coordination, constructability, and overall project execution.

Who Leads the Site Concrete Division

Chris Conway brings more than a decade of experience managing site and structural concrete projects throughout Southern California. He knows how the two scopes affect each other on a real job, from sequencing and access to inspections and closeout. The division is backed by PSSI’s resources and reputation, with a team focused on site work.

What Our Site Concrete Division Builds

PSSI’s site concrete services cover the scopes that surround and support a project:

  • Hardscapes
  • Decorative and specialty architectural concrete
  • Site and retaining walls
  • Stairs
  • Curbs and gutters
  • Sidewalks and flatwork
  • Concrete paving
  • ADA improvements
  • Equipment pads
  • Foundations
  • Drainage structures

Whether it’s a standalone site package or part of a larger concrete scope, every step gets the same care, from planning and preconstruction through the final finish. We take pride in work that looks polished up close and reflects the designer’s intent.

Built for Real Job Sites

Construction sites are tough. Access is limited, schedules change, and other trades need space. That’s why we plan ahead, coordinate closely with the project team, and solve problems before they show up on site. Early constructability input and clear communication keep the work moving and keep surprises to a minimum.

One Concrete Partner, Start to Finish

When the same team handles structural and site concrete, there’s a single point of accountability and fewer gaps or overlaps between scopes. It also makes it easier to coordinate manpower, scheduling, purchasing, and vendor relationships across the full concrete package, which benefits owners, developers, and general contractors.

Our goal is simple: be the site team that general contractors can rely on, and deliver work that owners and designers are proud of.

Distinctive finishes. Solid execution. The strength of PSSI.
